Since 3 March 2021 there is a registration/publication obligation in the municipality of Davos. Every accommodation provider is obliged to apply for a registration number (property number) at Davos Destinations Organisation before the first taxable accommodation. The registration number must always be visible in offers, advertisements and other advertising measures for the accommodation concerned, especially on the Internet. If the relevant platform provides a special form field for the registration number, this must be used. Otherwise, the number is to be indicated in the title of the offer and marked with the abbreviation "Reg-Nr."

If you start renting out your accommodation for a fee, you must also register with the Davos tax office. Landlords are obliged to pay a "tourism promotion tax". This currently amounts to Fr. 65.00 per bed and year.
